The Nav tab of OpenQuran is specialy improved first to let Users of OQ exchange information regarding Quran such as specified verses with some comments to them. The infomation can be also done in any txt-Editor and saved as *.oq file.

Users can open these files by dragging the file in the NavBox or open from the File menu of the Nav Tab. After openning the file we run the code by clicking the File=>Run Code or just press (Alt+Space). The choosen Verses can be diplayed in any quran language the user wants to.

Nav can also be helpful by searching in specified verses. The search function can find enteries from the browser contents. In this way we can sort specified verses with the nav window and after that we search within them for our letters or words, which we would like to see or count.

For this purpose i would like to offer some OQ files, which i use by my self.

It  will be nice if you although have some Nav code which you would like to share with us.
For small examples you can post directly hier. Big examples with explanation can be sent to uns and we´ll inschaAllah post it hier for you.

How to:

• Comments are to be written between parenthesis: (This is a comment to verse ....)
  
• To show a whole sura, only write the number of it: 1 or many Suras: 3 4 5
  
• Specified verses can be shown as follow: 1:1  1:3  1:5  1:7
  
• A range of verses:  1:1-5  (These are the first 5 verses)

To use the following examples, just copy the code, paste in you nav, choose the quran translation you like to and run code (Alt+Space).
